Tonight Amon will be reading a Sherlock Holmes mystery. The Engineer's Thumb is one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's short stories featuring Sherlock Holmes. It's part of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes collection, first published in 1892. The story is unique in that it involves an original case brought to Holmes by a third party, rather than one of his regular clients.
